SolrCloud Training Course

Apache SolrCloud is a distributed data processing engine designed to facilitate searching and indexing of files across a network. This training, led by an instructor, will guide participants through setting up a SolrCloud instance on Amazon AWS. By the end of this training, participants will be able to: - Understand SolrCloud’s features and how they compare to those of traditional master-slave clusters. - Configure a centralized SolrCloud cluster. - Automate processes such as communication with shards and adding documents to the shards. - Use Zookeeper in conjunction with SolrCloud to further automate these processes. - Manage error reporting through the interface. - Load balance a SolrCloud installation. - Configure SolrCloud for continuous processing and fail-over. This training is designed for: - Solr Developers - Project Managers - System Administrators - Search Analysts The format of the course includes part lecture, part discussion, exercises, and extensive hands-on practice.
