Course Outline
The Better Business Cases training and certification program is grounded in the HM Treasury’s Green Book, which serves as central government guidance for appraising and evaluating policies, programs, and projects. It also utilizes the Five Case Model, a structured approach to arriving at well-informed decisions.
NobleProg is authorized to deliver accredited training and is an approved Accredited Training Organisation by APMG International for Better Business Cases Foundation and Practitioner levels.

Exam Format:
- Objective testing
- 4 questions per paper, with 20 marks available per question
- 40 marks or more required to pass (out of 80 available) - 50%
- 2.5 hours duration (taken on Day 2 for in-person training and at your convenience if delivered as online, instructor-led)
- Open book exam (International Guide to Developing the Project Business Case and International Guide to Developing the Programme Business Case only)

Requirements
An advanced qualification providing an in-depth understanding of the business case development process. Participants are required to have successfully passed the Better Business Cases™ FOUNDATION exam for government.
Target Audience:
Better Business Cases training and certification is applicable to individuals involved with, or overseeing, projects within the public sector, including:
- Senior executives responsible for ensuring value for money from the organization’s investments in change and achieving the organization’s strategic objectives
- Project managers and team members tasked with developing a business case for investment
