Course Outline
Acquire knowledge and practical experience in the following QA and test topics, designed to enhance capabilities for government:
- IT delivery models (including DevOps and Scrum)
- The VOICE model for achieving business value through IT delivery
- CI/CD pipeline and tooling
- QA and test methodologies, such as:
- quality risk analysis and testing strategy
- acceptance criteria development
- review processes
- test data management
- test execution, result evaluation, and research
- monitoring and control mechanisms
- reporting and alerting procedures
- infrastructure and tool integration
- Quality measures, including Specification by Example and Feature toggles
- Test design entity relationships
- Test design techniques: Data combination testing, State transition testing, Semantic testing
- Experience-based testing and the value of unstructured testing approaches
The training course is structured to provide participants with hands-on experience through concise introductions followed by relevant exercises. It also allows for ample discussion and sharing of experiences among all participants. Throughout the course, participants will practice exam questions to reinforce their learning.
This course includes the cost of the TMAP® High-performance quality engineering exam voucher. The exam is administered in collaboration with iSQI. With this voucher, participants can schedule the exam at a date and location of their choice.
Requirements
For this training course, participants should have a foundational understanding of information technology, teamwork, and Agile methodologies. While there are no specific certifications required, it is highly recommended that individuals first obtain the certification “TMAP: Quality for Cross-Functional Teams” to ensure alignment with best practices for government.

The most useful technique I learned is the locating elements for different web component like textbox, radio buttons and buttons. Sometimes, the element ID is not capture correctly. We learned a different way of locating elements by using CSS selectors, XPath, Name and ID. I like the explanation. Thanks
