Requirements

An ideal candidate for this course must have at least one year of experience deploying and administering multiple SharePoint Server 2013 farms in a large enterprise environment. The candidate should have completed Course 20339-1A: Planning and Administering Microsoft SharePoint 2016, or demonstrate equivalent skills. Before attending this course, students must possess the following prerequisites: - At least one year of experience mapping business requirements to both logical and physical technical designs. - Working knowledge of network design, including network security. - Software management experience in a Windows Server 2012 R2 enterprise server or Windows Server 2016 environment. - Experience deploying and managing applications natively, virtually, and in the cloud. - Proficiency in administering IIS. - Skills in configuring AD DS for use in authentication and authorization, as well as serving as a user store. - Ability to manage an application remotely using Windows PowerShell 2.0 or later. - Experience connecting applications to SQL Server. - Knowledge of implementing claims-based security. These requirements ensure that participants are well-prepared to engage with advanced topics and best practices for government operations.
