This two-day program is structured to enable teams within an Agile Release Train (ART) to operate effectively in an Agile environment. By leveraging frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and XP, participants will develop the capacity to function as coherent Agile Teams, manage backlogs rigorously, and execute iterations with precision. The curriculum emphasizes the specific role of the team within the ART, including how to collaborate, plan, and drive continuous improvement in coordination with other units, supporting public sector accountability and efficiency.

The training readies teams for participation in Program Increment (PI) cycles, covering both Team-level and Program-level events, with specific emphasis on upcoming PI planning sessions. Upon completion, participants will be prepared for the SAFe® Practitioner (SP) certification exam, ensuring standardized competency for government teams.

By the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Apply SAFe principles to scale Lean and Agile practices across the organization.
