This instructor-led, live training introduces participants to the capabilities of Jira and Confluence, emphasizing how these tools can enhance team efficiency in delivering successful projects. Participants will learn how to effectively utilize these tools to manage user requirements, testing, communication, and centralize project information in one location.

The training covers topics such as JIRA projects, Confluence spaces, workflows, boards (Kanban & Scrum), planning and dependencies, Jira/Confluence integration, reporting, essential fields and custom fields, issue types, screens, and filtering.

It enhances the Scrum paradigm by introducing scalable engineering and DevOps practices, as well as the application of Kanban to facilitate the flow of value. The course provides actionable tools for building high-performing teams and explores practical methods for addressing Agile and Scrum anti-patterns in the enterprise. This two-day course is designed to equip teams who are part of an Agile Release Train (ART) with the skills needed to operate effectively in an Agile environment using methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and XP. Teams will learn how to function as Agile Teams, develop their backlogs, and plan and execute iterations. The curriculum covers understanding the ART and each team’s role within it, along with planning, executing, and continuously improving processes in collaboration with other teams.

This class prepares participants to manage a Program Increment (PI), including all necessary meetings at both the Team and Program levels, with a particular emphasis on upcoming PI planning. By attending this course, participants will be well-prepared to take the exam and earn certification as a SAFe® Practitioner (SP).

It covers all aspects of a product owner's involvement in the life cycle of an Agile product, including gathering requirements rapidly, writing user stories, estimating story points, tracking progress, release planning, reporting, forecasting, scaling, and more.
