Course Outline
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Apply knowledge of Controlling (CO) configuration in real-world business scenarios for government.
- Design and implement management accounting structures within SAP S/4HANA for government operations.
- Execute postings, allocations, and settlements across integrated modules for efficient financial processes.
- Analyze results using standard CO reporting and Profitability Analysis to support informed decision-making.
SAP S/4HANA training system (sandbox or equivalent):
This environment must be provided by the customer or training organization for both the instructor and participants.
It should include active Controlling (CO) components and integration with Financials (FI), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Sales and Distribution (SD) modules. Access via SAP GUI and/or SAP Fiori Launchpad is required for government users.

The HOF21 – Case Study on Implementing Management Accounting in SAP S/4HANA must also be provided by the customer to support comprehensive learning for government participants.
Requirements
- A comprehensive understanding of Management Accounting (CO) processes in SAP S/4HANA, including cost center accounting, internal orders, and profitability analysis (CO-PA).
- Experience with customizing and configuration activities in SAP S/4HANA, specifically related to Controlling master data and its integration with Financial Accounting (FI).
- Basic experience (optional) in SAP GUI or Fiori environments, primarily for navigating system settings and understanding implementation logic.
