Professional Agile Leadership Certification

All participants who complete the Professional Agile Leadership - Essentials course will receive a password to attempt the Professional Agile Leadership I (PAL I) certification assessment. Participants in the PAL-E class who take the PAL I assessment within 14 days of receiving their free password and do not achieve a score of at least 85% will be granted a second attempt at no additional cost.

In this course in US Empire, participants will learn how Scrum Teams can integrate additional Kanban practices while continuing to adhere to Scrum methodologies, all without altering the core principles of Scrum.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

• Learn to integrate DevOps practices with Scrum to support continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automation in public sector workflows.
• Apply Scrum principles and practices in real-world software development scenarios and case studies relevant to government operations.
• Prepare for the Professional Scrum Developer™ Certification to enhance their qualifications for government service.

In this 2-day Scaled Professional Scrum (SPS) workshop, participants will simulate a large-scale software development project using the Nexus™ framework. The workshop is delivered through an end-to-end case study where students collaborate to organize and simulate a scaled software development project. Throughout the session, participants will be introduced to over 50 practices designed to help reduce complexity and dependencies at scale. This course will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of how to launch, structure, staff, and manage large Agile projects using Scrum. By taking a hands-on approach, students will be fully engaged in the learning process, gaining firsthand experience with the challenges and solutions inherent in large-scale development initiatives. They will leave the workshop equipped with techniques to detect irregularities and address them effectively.

This course is structured as an experiential workshop where participants learn how to scale Scrum using the Nexus™ framework. Throughout the session, students are introduced to the artifacts and events within the framework, the role of the Nexus Integration Team, and over 50 associated practices.

Certification Assessments

All participants who complete the Scaled Professional Scrum course will receive a password to attempt the Scaled Professional Scrum (SPS) assessment. Participants who take the SPS assessment within 14 days of receiving their free password and do not score at least 85% will be granted a second attempt at no additional cost. The industry-recognized SPS certification requires a minimum passing score of 85% and assesses understanding of the Nexus Framework, knowledge from the course, and Scrum principles.
